50th BIRTHDAY PARTY

We conceptualised, managed and produced an incredible party to celebrate the 50th of a private client. He loved pink and has quite a quirky sense of humour with an incredible appreciation of art. We created a Daliesque backdrop at beach cafe (including a sofa in the shape of lips) and produced a serious line up of talent.......this party started at 12 and ended the next morning at well past 5am!

COYNE WEDDING - THE NEW ROMANTICISM

GRC worked on a wedding which we very proud of. It was an intimate affair for 120 people. The couple chose to host it at the One&Only Cape Town and whilst we love working on the venue we felt that we did not want to be constrained with the existing decor and colour scheme. We decided to drape the walls and create an exaggerated draped ceiling with a lighting effect of trailing leaves. In addition the colour scheme was a a soft dirty shade of pink and we custom made all the linen for the wedding.

We also used a combination of round tables with long rectangular tables. The idea to pinspot the rectangular tables on the opposite ends of the ballroom also created depth and interest.
